The stated mission of the Notre Dame Alumni Association is "to advance
the interests of the alumni and their University through a commitment to
excellence in a lifelong relationship." Local clubs play an integral role in
fostering and encouraging this lifelong relationship. To this end, clubs are
encouraged to present a balanced variety of events and programs each
year from the six core areas of Camaraderie, Catholic/Christian Spirituality, Communication, Community Service, Continuing Education,
and Current Student Support.
CATHOLIC/CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALITY
The Catholic tradition is one of the most special and distinctive characteristics of Notre Dame. One of the most meaningful things a club can offer is the opportunity for alumni to worship together through an event such as a communion breakfast, family mass, Alumni Urban Plunge or alumni retreat.
