My family and I are IU football fans (shocking, I know), and we often head to Bloomington for home football games. Typically, we leave Friday afternoon and return Sunday evening, which
leaves our house available for Friday and Saturday nights. We are expecting our second child in November, so available dates for the 2010 – 2011 season are limited.

NCAA Champion Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski, future National Baseball Hall of Famer Frank Thomas, Chicago Blackhawks Chairman Rocky Wirtz and Pro Football Hall of Famer John Hannah are among the 2010 inductees of The Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame. All have committed to attend the annual ceremonies and dinner, which takes place at 6 p.m. on September 15 at Hawthorne Race Course.
Joining this year’s class are Bill Madlock (Chicago Cubs), Jeremy Roenick (Chicago Blackhawks), Emmette Bryant (DePaul University, NBA), Linda Mastrandrea (Paralympic Gold Medalist), Nick Rassas (Notre Dame All-American) and Willie May (Indiana All-American). The Class of 2010 is also privileged to include Jerry Vainisi (Chicago Bears and NFL executive), Simeon Rice (University of Illinois, NFL), Gerry Sullivan (University of Illinois, NFL), Ted Cachey (Mt. Carmel H.S., University of Michigan captain), Richard Hazelton (legendary thoroughbred trainer), Jim Corno (President, Comcast SportsNet), Larry Wert (Regional President, NBCU), Ed Maracich (Big Ten official) and Matt Senffner (Providence Catholic H.S.).

Bob Schoen ’75, is President of Research Down Syndrome. RDS is a 501c3 with the mission of funding biomedical therapies to treat the cognitive impairment of people of all ages with Down syndrome.

You are invited to the 2nd Annual Bengal Bouts Alumni Cruise On Thursday, July 29th to benefit the Holy Cross Missions in Bangladesh.
The night is a great opportunity to connect with old friends and make new with the scenic Chicago skyline and sunsets over Lake Michicagan as backdrop. This year, we are honored to host Fr. Frank Quinlivan, the Holy Cross Provincial in Bangladesh.
