Freshman Send-Off
This event takes place in July or August before students from the Chicago-land area embark on their freshman year at the University of Notre Dame. This is a family event where students are encouraged to bring their loved ones with them to celebrate and meet other people from our Notre Dame family. Volunteers are needed to help at the event with the registration desk and to be on-hand to discuss any questions or concerns students or their families might have. If you are interested in joining this committee please contact Michele Cahill, '07 at ndclubadmin@earthlink.net

Rockne Athletic Banquet
This is the largest event the Club has with over 1,000 in attendance last year. This event takes place around late April but the planning starts the October before. People on this committee help plan the event as well as market the event. This event also has a Silent Auction which is a huge fund-raiser for the Club. Volunteers are needed to acquire items to be donated for the Silent Auction. Seminars
The seminars usually take place at The Cubby Bear located directly across from Wrigley Field.

Seminars we have had in the past include "How to buy your first home or condo", "How to buy a multi-unit building" and "How and where to save your money." We are always looking for more seminar topics.

Volunteers are needed to find people that want to instruct a free seminar about a subject that is desirable for our ND alums. This is not a sales pitch. The instructor is there to inform the attendees about the subject matter and as a bonus can offer their services if desired by the attendees.

Service
Sarah Martin, '02 is the chairperson for this committee. This committee organizes a service event every month. Some service activities include working at a soup kitchen, helping at children's organizations, and delivering food at holiday times. Volunteers are always needed to help at the service events. Young Alumni
Meghan Desmond and Jay Smith are the chairs for this committee. We are always looking to expand the committee to offer new events and to have more fun. Volunteers are needed to help with the planning committee and to organize events.
